Build Up Kansas Hosts 3rd Annual Instructor Workshop

AGC’s Build Up Kansas recently connected over 150 Kansas high school, community college and vo-tech college instructors for its third Instructor Workshop.

Hosted in Wichita, this hands-on workshop trained attendees on how to utilize AGC’s NCCER construction trade materials. Instructors also received training on the NCCER online testing materials for student credentialing. The event brought together instructors and industry experts from across the state to learn and share insights.

Through educational partnerships and training conferences and workshops, Build Up Kansas is the leading workforce development initiative for the skilled trades in Kansas. Their continued commitment to the support and development of school instructors is generating tomorrow’s skilled trade workforce. Today, there are nearly 200AGC/NCCER certified construction trade instructors. NCCER-certified instructors are essential toward building up tomorrow’s skilled trade workforce.
